Bridal Skin Prep

Great skin doesn’t happen overnight, especially when you want to look and feel your most radiant on such an important day. I recommend starting your bridal skin prep a minimum of 9–12 months out from your wedding day to allow time for any recommended treatments (this may involve a protocol of sessions to achieve the desired outcome), product adjustments/advancements, and unexpected changes.

The Bridal Skin Prep Package includes your first comprehensive skincare consultation, as well as a follow-up appointment at the 3 and 6-month mark to review your progress, make any necessary alterations to your topical routine, and ensure we’re on the right track with your skin ahead of your wedding day.

Book a Bridal Skin Prep Package

If you are less than 9 months out from your wedding date and you’d still like to book this package, please ensure you opt for the fast-tracked appointment option (pending availability) when booking to ensure the most lead time possible.

Making last minute changes to your skincare (less than 3 months out) or introducing new treatments means your results will be limited and we don’t have buffer room in the event of an adverse outcome (while unlikely, we don’t want to take any unnecessary risks). For this reason, I don’t recommend a bridal skin consultation with less than 3 months lead time.

The Process

  • Book your Consultation

Use this link to book your consultation. There is usually a minimum 8 week wait time for new client appointments, so opt for the fast-tracked option if your wedding date is in 6-9 months; for brides with 9+ months to work with, a fast-tracked appointment is generally not needed. As a new client, your initial consultation involves a 30-minute, one-on-one virtual session via Zoom designed to provide you with tailored skincare advice to address your skin concerns and prep your skin for your big day.

  • Complete the Consultation Form

Upon booking your consultation, you will receive an email with a link to the client consultation form. Here you’ll detail your concerns, current skincare routine and budget, and also provide high quality imagery which I will work off to curate your custom routine and provide personalised advice. It is crucial to submit this form at least 48 hours prior to your consultation. If it is not completed, your consultation may be cancelled.

  • Attend your Consultation

Your confirmation email and reminder emails will contain a Zoom link that you can click to join the consultation. During the call, we’ll go through your skin history to date, current concerns and routine, what you’re wanting to achieve with your skin, and any areas where you’re seeking more guidance. We’ll then discuss your revised skincare routine and any other recommendations in detail. We will also book in your next two follow-up appointments for 3 and 6-months time.

  • Receive your Consultation Summary

After the Zoom session, you’ll receive a comprehensive document via email summarising our conversation, including your recommended skincare routine, usage instructions, and anything further that was discussed in your consultation like professional treatments and supplementation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Appointment Information

  • Absolutely, I see clients worldwide. All product recommendations will be available in your region, just ensure your location is specified where prompted on the consultation form. You may need to be a little more flexible with your availability to align with the AEST/AEDT timezone.

  • No I don’t, all consultations are virtual and completed via Zoom. If I believe in-clinic treatments (like lasers for example) will help to enhance your results and get you a lot closer to the outcome you’re after, I will definitely recommend suitable treatments in your consultation and provide a clinic suggestion in your nearest town/city where possible.

  • No, being makeup-free isn’t essential as I will have already reviewed your provided imagery of your skin ahead of your appointment. It is crucial this imagery is clear, well-lit and pictures your whole face.

  • I hold an Advanced Diploma in Cosmetic Dermal Science and have over a decade of experience working in the beauty industry for both cosmetic doctors and plastic surgeons, as well as for a beauty retailer where I trained with many leading skincare brands (hence my ability to recommend products from so many different ranges at varying pricepoints). I am a qualified dermal therapist and skincare educator, dedicated to providing evidence-based, personalised skincare advice.

  • I work in 12-week windows with my clients, after which we can review your skin’s progress and any potential routine changes to further enhance your results. In saying that, each individual's skin is unique, and factors such as genetics, lifestyle, environment, and pre-existing conditions can influence skin concerns and treatment outcomes. While I strive to achieve the best possible results, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes as this can depend on factors beyond my control, particularly with persistent or complex conditions. The implementation of topical products, suggested treatments, and over-the-counter supplementation may not fully resolve certain concerns, and further specialist advice and treatment may be required.

  • Please fill out the detailed skin consultation form and upload clear photos of your skin in natural lighting. Ensure you include complete/exact brand and product names for all of your current skincare. This helps me prepare personalised recommendations tailored to your skin’s needs, and identify if anything isn’t suitable for you. You may wish to have questions for me prepared in advance to ensure we can cover them off in your session. Please join your Zoom session from a quiet space with a reliable internet connection.

  • After our Zoom session, you’ll receive a detailed PDF via email that outlines your customised routine, product recommendations, and education about your skin concerns.

  • I use Zoom for video calls, which can be accessed via desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. A reliable internet connection is important to limit disruptions. Please ensure you have updated your Zoom application on your selected device prior to your consultation, as delays in joining your session will eat into your appointment time.

Follow-ups and Support

  • If you have further questions or concerns after your Zoom session, you can email me during the 12 weeks post-consultation, after which you’d book a follow-up consultation.

  • If you are over 9 months out from your wedding, I suggest opting for the Bridal Skin Prep Package, which includes your first comprehensive consultation, and two follow-up appointments at the 3 and 6 month mark to ensure we’re on track with your progress. This allows us to make product adjustments and/or advancements as we go, and includes a 5% discount.

Client Suitability

  • Yes, I’ll tailor all product and ingredient suggestions to be pregnancy and breastfeeding-safe if needed. Please ensure you notify me in your consultation form if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive.

  • Yes, I see teen clients aged 12-17, where I can provide advice on the most appropriate products for teenage skin and provide a simple routine for them to follow to address usually puberty-related concerns like excess oiliness, congestion and breakouts. It is recommended for the consultation form to be completed by a parent or guardian for those aged under 16, and for them to have a guardian present during their Zoom consultation. For the treatment of skin concerns in children under 12, I suggest seeking the advice of a dermatologist.

  • Yes, we can tailor your routine to ensure it supports your skin while taking isotretinoin (Roaccutane/accutane). The skin can become quite sensitised and dry on this medication, so ensuring your having a supportive skincare routine is key.

  • I work with all skin types and most conditions, however, complex medical skin issues may sometimes require specialist medical advice alongside skincare. I will only ever work within my scope of practice, and therefore may make recommendations for relevant specialists to support your treatment plan.

Product Recommendations

  • This is entirely dependent on your budget, skin concerns and location. I recommend products from at least 50 different skincare brands, including but not limited to the below:

    • asap

    • Alpha-H

    • La Clinica

    • Skinceuticals

    • Medik8

    • CeraVe

    • Aspect/Aspect Dr

    • Bioderma

    • La Roche-Posay

    • Skinfix

    • Biossance

    • Beauty of Joseon

    • CosRx

    • Osmosis

    • Innisfree

    • tbh

    • Rationale

    • Murad

    • Paula’s Choice

    • Go-To Skincare

  • Yes, your budget is a key focus of mine when I’m designing your routine, as is being able to achieve the best outcome for your skin. My lowest budget range features brands like CeraVe, tbh, La Roche-Posay, The Ordinary, Byoma and Bioderma to give you an idea of price point.

  • I understand the growing interest in low-tox and “clean” beauty, but I don’t work within that framework when making product recommendations. The terms clean, natural, and non-toxic aren’t regulated in the skincare industry and often create unnecessary fear around safe, evidence-based ingredients. Instead, I focus on products that are well-formulated, effective, and suitable for your specific skin needs whether they’re synthetic, plant-derived, or a combination of both.

  • No, I don’t sell products directly. You’re free to purchase from your preferred retailers. Some links in your PDF document may be affiliate links, but my recommendations are always unbiased and based on your skin’s needs.
